Welcome to my site and hopefully the first step towards finding the support you need to improve your life and personal well-being.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY30869) and provide therapy in South Pasadena, California, or anywhere in California via telehealth (secure videoconference). I have a doctorate in applied clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I use a combination of approaches to help individuals work through past trauma, cope with anxiety, control addictive behaviors, and stabilize and improve their mood. I can consult with you first to ensure we are a good fit and can establish a plan to meet your treatment goals together.
I work with individual adults who have struggled with depression, anxiety, or addiction and are willing to adjust their perspective and habits to make lasting changes in their lives. Although the approach will vary based on individual needs, I typically use a combination of Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to develop insight into how background and unique ways of thinking impact our perception of reality and ability to function in relationships and in life. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) can also be used to desensitize traumatic memories or anxiety provoking experiences and integrate our experience in a way that is more adaptive and leads to a more secure sense of self.
In addition to meeting in-person in South Pasadena, CA, I also provide online therapy via telehealth. Please ensure first that you have a reliable internet connection, enough bandwidth, and can meet on your computer or cell phone in a place that offers you enough privacy to be able to speak openly.
My 50-minute session rate is $150. I am an in-network provider for Aetna, Cigna, Optum, and MHN. If you have out-of-network mental health insurance coverage, please check with your insurance whether you can submit a superbill to request reimbursement.
